What size do you need for your maternity wardrobe

One thing for sure your matenity wardrobe will grow just as your baby grows.  When deciding what to buy know that your size may change as your pregancy progresses.  You may go up 1 or sometimes 2 sizes by the end.  This is NORMAL. 

What size am I?  Knowing what your measurements are is the best start to getting the correct size.  Bust and Hips measurements will give you general sizing in Small, Medium, etc.   Know your Inseam - the measurement from the crotch to the bottom of the ankle - allows you to choose the correct length for pants, jeans, capris and shorts.  Don't have someone to help you measure yourself, then measure pants thet you alread have that fit you perfectly.  Knowing what these measurements are will help you target the correct size faster.  There are many size charts across the internet by brand and are very easy to google.  One of the best size charts is at A Pea in the Pod.   Not only will knowing your measurements help when visiting the physical store, but is necessary when buying online. 

When looking for Maternity Clothes online, be sure to check the measuremnets that are listed.  This will avoid having to send clothes back that do not fit.  Below is an example of Maternity Jeans with Measurements included.  Be sure to know your measurements for smooth shopping and enjoy all of the changes that are happening in your life.

I wanted to start distinguishing my items in search by including my logo with the item photo.  Deborah at Pink Hill Vintage (a member of VOL) has great branding in her listings.  I was envious and I had no idea how to do something like that.  BUT, thank you VOL, Deborah had an educational video posted that had clear instructions on photo editing in Picasa.  The offering had been completed earlier in the year, and was available on demand with my membership.  Now buyers can tell my listings from others during their search.  Thank you Deborah and VOL.

Finding Great Maternity Clothing

Do you want to find great maternity clothing, and at a fantastic bargain?  There are may resources for that great maternity wardrobe.  Sharing with your friends who have recently delivered is  great.  Most gals are ready to get those maternity clothes out of their closet so they can move on to "real clothes."  Borrowing some pieces allows you to buy some higher end pieces to complete your wardrobe without breaking the bank on an entire wardrobe. 

Are there Local Consignment Stores like Expecting You.  There are always great finds in a fantastic Maternity Consignment shop.  Expecting You is in the Fort Lauderdale area and also has a facebook page.   See what they have for sale.

Check out eBay.  There are LOADS of sellers of  Maternity wear on eBay.   Be sure to check the sellers ratings as well as shipping charges to your zip code.  Unsure if something you really like will fit?  Ask the seller for measurements - what's the inseam on the pants, what are the measurements for the bust, hips or shoulders?  Also check out their return policy.  Some sellers do not accept returns for any items, others do.  If you do not see that detail posted - ask.
